Pine forest setting
Large areas of woodland surround the town and reach into it. The streets weave between them, which gives the poster a distinctive open texture.

关于地图
Irpin Map Poster & Print
Irpin lies just beyond the north-western edge of Kyiv, beside the river of the same name. For much of the twentieth century it was known as a summer resort, with dachas, sanatoriums and pine woods a short suburban train ride from the capital. On a map, the town appears as a network of streets running through dense forest, with the railway through its centre.
Its layout is looser and greener than that of most Ukrainian towns. Residential streets curve between patches of woodland, and the river and its marshy floodplain form a soft boundary. Newer apartment districts stand beside older quarters of detached houses. Irpin also has a long association with writers, many of whom worked at the literary retreat set up here in the Soviet period.
In 2022 the town became known worldwide during the defence of Kyiv, and the damaged bridge over the Irpin River became one of the defining images of that time. Much has since been rebuilt. An Irpin map poster records the town as a place of forests, streets and water, and for many people it also stands for resilience and return.

The Irpin River
The river and its floodplain form a natural boundary on the side facing Kyiv. On the map it is a winding line bordered by marshy ground that has never been fully built over.
Railway spine
The suburban line to Kyiv runs straight through the middle of the town, and streets and stations are arranged around it like a central axis.

为什么选Irpin
一张有意义的地图
For residents, returning families and those who helped rebuild, a map of Irpin carries real meaning. It can mark a home that was restored, a street lived on for years, or simply the woods and river that define the town.
Add your own title and subtitle, perhaps a street name or a date that matters, and change the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files or order a printed poster from a print partner near you.
