Dense old core
The centre is a close network of narrow lanes and small blocks. On paper it becomes a fine, intricate texture, clearly the oldest part of town.

关于地图
Kalānaur Map Poster & Print
Kalānaur is a town in the Rohtak district of Haryana, on the flat alluvial plain northwest of Delhi. From above there is little relief to shape it. The town is defined by how closely its buildings sit together, a dense core surrounded by a patchwork of cultivated fields that stretches to the horizon in almost every direction.
The older part of town is a mesh of narrow lanes, short, irregular and often turning at sharp angles, the pattern of a settlement that grew house by house. Wider roads run along its edges and out into the countryside toward Rohtak and neighbouring towns. A Kalānaur map poster captures that tight weave of lanes and the few confident lines that lead away from it.
Beyond the built-up area, the land is divided into long fields, and farm tracks follow their boundaries in straight runs. That rural geometry, characteristic of Haryana, contrasts with the organic centre. In print the result is a small, dark nucleus of streets surrounded by a light, orderly grid of agriculture, simple and quietly graphic.

Roads to the district
A handful of roads leave the town toward Rohtak and nearby villages, cutting straight lines through the fields and giving the composition its structure.
Field patterns
Around the town, agricultural plots and their boundary tracks make a regular pattern of rectangles, a calm counterpoint to the tangled streets at the centre.
