关于地图
Kalavoor Map Poster & Print
Kalavoor is in Alappuzha district in Kerala, on the narrow strip of land between the Arabian Sea and the backwaters inland. On the map, this setting makes the place long rather than round: settlement follows the coast north to south, with a clean shoreline on one side and water channels on the other.
A major coastal road runs the length of the strip, and most of the lanes connect to it. Houses spread through coconut groves, so the street pattern is loose and green rather than packed into blocks. Toward the inland side, lines of water and field banks increasingly take over from roads.
A Kalavoor map poster works as a portrait of this coastal form. The straight sea line, the road running parallel to it and the fine lanes between them make a strong vertical composition. It suits people with ties to the Alappuzha coast and anyone drawn to places defined by water on both sides.

A main road running north–south
The coastal highway runs parallel to the sea and collects the side lanes. It forms the backbone of the settlement on the map.
The backwater side
Inland, the lanes give way to channels and field banks. On the poster, this softer edge contrasts with the clean shoreline on the other side.
