The main road runs through the centre, and most of the town lines up along it. It's the backbone of the map.

关于地图
Karaçoban Map Poster & Print
Karaçoban is a district town in the southeast of Erzurum Province, near the border with Muş. It sits on the high plateau of eastern Anatolia at an altitude where winters are long and snowy. From above, it's a compact town surrounded by wide, treeless farmland and grazing land, with mountains on the horizon.
The street layout is simple and fairly regular: a main road runs through the centre, and residential blocks spread on either side of it. At the edges, streets give way to field tracks and paths across the plain. There's little on the map to break up the open land, which makes the town itself stand out clearly.
A Karaçoban map poster is spare, with a small built-up centre in a large empty landscape. That emptiness reflects the plateau as it is: high, open and shaped by farming and livestock. For people from the district, the pattern of roads leading out of town will be familiar.

Outlying roads
Roads head out across the plain toward nearby villages and the neighbouring districts. They connect Karaçoban to the wider highland.
