Winding lanes
Small roads curve through the settlement, following the contours of the land and linking scattered homes rather than forming a grid.

关于地图
Keevallur Map Poster & Print
Keevallur lies in the Kannur district of northern Kerala, inland from the Malabar coast, where the land rises gradually from the coastal plain into low laterite hills. Like many settlements in this part of Kerala, it is not a compact town but a dispersed area of houses, groves and small roads spread across the landscape.
From above, the map is defined by lanes and roads that curve with the terrain, with homes along them and dense tree cover filling the spaces between. Streams and paddy fields occupy the lower ground, while the higher land is dominated by coconut, cashew and other plantations typical of northern Malabar.
A Keevallur map poster presents this dispersed, organic pattern. There is no rigid grid, just a network of lanes connecting homes, temples, schools and markets across the green countryside. It suits the Paper and Sand styles, and it will be meaningful to families from this part of Kannur.
