关于地图
Klimovsk Map Poster & Print
Klimovsk lies in Moscow Oblast, south of the capital. Since 2015 it has been part of Podolsk, but it keeps a distinct identity. On a map the Kursk-direction railway passes along the town and forms its main axis. On either side are rectangular Soviet-era residential blocks, larger industrial plots and pockets of low-rise housing.
The town is known for precision engineering, especially the research institute for small arms and ammunition, as well as its older textile mill. From above, those industrial areas appear as large, simple shapes with few internal streets. The residential districts show the typical Soviet layout: apartment slabs set around shared courtyards.
A Klimovsk map poster balances this built grain with the surrounding greenery. Patches of forest, small rivers and dacha plots border the town, and the railway line runs straight through the middle. The result is a clear, slightly austere map that suits the practical, industrial character of the town.

Courtyard blocks
The microdistricts are made up of apartment slabs set around open courtyards. At poster scale they form a regular, geometric pattern.
Forest margins
Woodland and dacha areas enclose the town on several sides. They soften the edges of the map and give it a sense of place outside the city.

为什么选Klimovsk
一张有意义的地图
For people who grew up in Klimovsk, the name still matters even after the merger with Podolsk. A framed map keeps the town's own outline and streets on record, and makes a thoughtful gift for someone who has moved away.
You can edit the title to use the old name, add a subtitle and change the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download it for $9 in six print sizes, or order a printed poster on matte paper.
