Airport runway
The runway of Calicut International Airport is the straightest feature in the area. It is a long, bold line cut across the hills just outside the town.

关于地图
Kondotty Map Poster & Print
Kondotty is in the Malappuram district of northern Kerala, in the green, undulating inland country of the Malabar region. On a map it does not form a tight grid. Buildings stretch along main roads and spread across low hills, with trees and paddy land in between. That is typical of Kerala, where town and countryside tend to blend together.
Calicut International Airport lies at Karipur, just outside the town. Its runway is one of the most distinctive shapes in the area, a long straight line laid across hilly ground. A Kondotty map poster sets that engineered strip against the looser, winding network of roads and lanes around it.
The town is also known for its historic mosque and its annual festival, which draw visitors from across the region. In black and white, the map shows a place linked by main roads and air routes, yet still set in quiet, gently rolling land.

Roadside growth
Kondotty spreads along its main roads and not in a compact block. This reflects the continuous settlement pattern found across much of Kerala.
Rolling Malabar land
Low hills and valleys shape the local lanes, which bend and branch freely. On the map they form an organic network between the main routes.
