关于地图
Krian Map Poster & Print
Krian lies in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, on the low, fertile delta plain of the Brantas River south-west of Surabaya. On a map the town is a dense centre around its main roads and railway station, with kampung lanes filling the spaces between and rice fields stretching out on every side.
The main railway line west from Surabaya passes through Krian, and the town has long served as a market centre for the surrounding villages. Irrigation channels and small rivers cross the land in straight and curving lines, a reminder that this delta has been farmed intensively for centuries and remains one of the most productive parts of Java.
As Greater Surabaya has expanded, housing estates and industrial sites have appeared around Krian, and the map shows these new shapes alongside the older fabric. A Krian map poster records this mix of rail, road, canal and field in fine monochrome lines, a composition that is detailed without feeling crowded.

Delta waterways
Irrigation canals and small rivers thread across the plain, adding fine lines that tie the town to the wider landscape of the Brantas delta.
Kampung fabric
Between the main roads, narrow lanes and small alleys form a dense, intricate texture typical of Javanese towns and fill the heart of the map.
