Water tanks
Traditional tanks and lakes interrupt the street pattern, their rounded and irregular outlines standing out clearly against the tightly packed neighbourhoods around them.

关于地图
Kullattūr Map Poster & Print
Kullattūr lies within the sprawling southern suburbs of Chennai, in an area that has grown quickly as the city pushed outward along its main roads and rail lines. On a map it appears as a thick mesh of residential streets, many of them short and closely spaced, reflecting plot-by-plot development over recent decades.
Like much of the Chennai region, the surrounding land is flat and dotted with eris, the traditional water tanks and lakes that collect monsoon rain. Their irregular outlines break up the street grid and give the map its most distinctive shapes.
Main roads run through the suburb and connect it to the larger commercial and transport hubs nearby. A Kullattūr map poster shows the texture of an Indian suburb in close detail: dense, practical, and shaped by water as much as by roads.

Dense residential lanes
Short, closely spaced streets fill most of the area, creating a fine-grained texture that looks almost like woven fabric on the poster.
Connecting roads
Wider arterial roads cut through the suburb and link it to the rest of metropolitan Chennai, giving structure to the otherwise dense local network.

为什么选Kullattūr
一张有意义的地图
Kullattūr is home to families who have built lives in Chennai's growing southern suburbs. A map of the neighbourhood makes a meaningful housewarming gift or a reminder of home for someone who has moved away.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a street or family name, and add a date or coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as $9 digital files or a printed poster.
