关于地图
Kumbalam Map Poster & Print
Kumbalam lies in the backwaters just south of Kochi in Kerala's Ernakulam district. On the map it's as much water as land. Narrow islands and strips of ground are separated by channels and open lagoon, and the settlement follows whatever solid ground there is in long, thin lines.
The national highway crosses the area on bridges, a straight line cutting over the water, while the local roads twist along the island edges. Houses, coconut palms and small fish farms fill the land between them. For people from Kochi, Kumbalam is familiar as the southern approach to the city.
A Kumbalam map poster is dominated by the pattern of water. The lagoons and channels form large, calm shapes, and the land between them reads as a delicate mesh. It's one of the most graphic maps in Kerala, and it works well at larger print sizes.

为什么选Kumbalam
一张有意义的地图
Kumbalam shows the backwater landscape at its clearest, and for Malayalis far from home that image carries weight. The poster is both a local landmark and a striking abstract composition.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint gives the water a particularly clean look.
