Planned street grid
The central districts follow a regular layout of broad streets and large blocks, typical of postwar Soviet town planning and very clear on a monochrome map.

关于地图
Lesnoy Map Poster & Print
Lesnoy lies in the north of Sverdlovsk Oblast, deep in the taiga of the Urals, close to the Tura River. As its name suggests, forest surrounds it on every side. From above, the town shows the clear outlines of Soviet planning: straight avenues, large residential blocks arranged around courtyards, and a sharp edge where the buildings stop and the trees begin.
Lesnoy is a closed administrative territory. It was founded in the late 1940s as part of the Soviet nuclear programme under the code name Sverdlovsk-45, and it is still home to an enterprise that works on isotope separation. Entry is restricted to residents and people with permits, which gives the town its distinctive, self-contained character.
A Lesnoy map poster captures that planned, enclosed form: a neat grid of streets in a sea of forest, with water nearby. For people who grew up here, it is a clear image of a place that outsiders rarely see.

Forest boundary
Taiga presses right up to the edges of the town, so the built-up area has a clean, defined outline against the dense green.
Tura River nearby
The Tura River and its reservoir lie close to the town, adding open water and soft curves to an otherwise geometric plan.

为什么选Lesnoy
一张有意义的地图
Many people who lived in Lesnoy or worked there have since moved away, and a closed town is not easy to visit again. A map of its streets and forest edge is a quiet, personal way to remember it.
Add the title in Latin or Cyrillic, a subtitle such as a year or a school, and the coordinates line. Noir and Blueprint suit the town's planned geometry. A free 900 px preview shows the result before you buy.
