关于地图
Limbiate Map Poster & Print
Limbiate lies in the province of Monza and Brianza, in the dense belt of towns north of Milan. Here one municipality blends into the next, and the map shows a continuous weave of streets, industrial lots and housing. Green areas break it up where old estates and parks have survived.
The most notable of these is Mombello, the part of town around the great villa where Napoleon Bonaparte kept court in 1797 during the Italian campaign. The villa's grounds, and the large former hospital complex that later grew up beside them, form a distinctive open block in an otherwise closely built layout. Straight roads connect Limbiate to Milan and to neighbouring Brianza towns.
A Limbiate map poster suits people who live in the town or commute from it to Milan, and who know its streets by car, bike and on foot. Brianza towns are often seen as a blur of suburbs, and this print shows the specific shape of this one.

Dense Brianza weave
Streets continue into neighbouring towns almost without a break. The poster shows Limbiate as part of the fine-grained urban fabric north of Milan.
Roads to Milan
Straight arterial roads head south towards Milan. They give the print strong directional lines through the mixed residential and industrial blocks.
