Lake Väsman
The long lake extends south from the town. Its shoreline is the most dramatic shape on the map and gives the print its orientation.

关于地图
Ludvika Map Poster & Print
Ludvika lies in southern Dalarna, in the old mining and ironworking country of Bergslagen. On the map the town sits at the northern end of Lake Väsman, whose long, narrow body stretches away to the south. Streets and the railway squeeze between the lake shore and wooded hills, and more small lakes and forest surround the town in every direction.
Industry built Ludvika. The town has long been a centre of high-voltage electrical engineering, a tradition that started with ASEA and continues today. Several of the plants that produce transformers and power equipment stand in the town. They appear on the map as large block footprints among the residential streets.
A Ludvika map poster sets that industrial core against water and forest. The lake gives the composition a strong vertical shape, and the streets form a tight cluster at its head. The sparse surrounding landscape leaves plenty of calm space around them. It is a Nordic print in the true sense, restrained and exact.

Industrial blocks
Large factory footprints tied to the town's electrical engineering industry stand out as solid shapes among the smaller residential blocks.
Forest and small lakes
Outside the town, wooded land and scattered lakes create a spare, open pattern typical of Bergslagen.
