关于地图
Uppsala Map Poster & Print
Uppsala lies about 70 kilometres north of Stockholm, on both banks of the small Fyris River. The river runs north to south through the centre and divides the city in two: to the west, the older academic and church quarter climbs toward a ridge crowned by the cathedral and the castle; to the east, a more regular pattern of commercial streets spreads over flatter ground.
Uppsala University, founded in 1477, is the oldest in Scandinavia, and Uppsala Cathedral is the largest church in the region. The botanist Carl Linnaeus taught here, and his garden is still preserved in the city. A few kilometres to the north lies Gamla Uppsala, where large royal burial mounds mark one of the most important early centres of Swedish history.
An Uppsala map poster shows the city's balance between old and new: the river through the middle, the tight streets and green spaces of the university quarter, the grid on the east bank and the residential districts beyond. Seen from above, the cathedral ridge and the river form a clear, calm composition that works well in any of the five styles.

为什么选Uppsala
一张有意义的地图
Many people pass through Uppsala as students, and its nations, libraries and riverside walks stay with them long after graduation. A map of the city is a natural way to remember those years, and a considered gift for a new or returning graduate.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with your student nation or graduation year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download HD files in six sizes for $9 or order a matte printed poster, framed if you wish.
