关于地图
Madhyamgram Map Poster & Print
Madhyamgram lies in North 24 Parganas, on the north-eastern edge of the Kolkata metropolitan area. The land is flat delta country, so the street pattern grew without hills to shape it. Short lanes branch off the main roads, the blocks are small, and houses cluster around ponds. From above the density is striking, with only scattered green plots and water tanks breaking the texture.
The Sealdah–Bangaon railway runs through the town, and the station is a hub for commuters travelling into central Kolkata every day. Main roads link Madhyamgram with neighbouring Barasat and with the airport to the south-west. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport is close enough that its runways appear at the edge of a wider map frame.
Madhyamgram grew quickly in the decades after Partition, as families settled across the suburbs of North 24 Parganas, and its irregular, closely built plan reflects that history. A Madhyamgram map poster turns the fine grain of lanes and tanks into a pattern that holds up well at a large size. Up close the lanes look intricate, and from across the room the town reads as one dense shape.

Ponds and tanks
Small water bodies are scattered across the town, many surrounded by homes. On the map they show as pale shapes breaking up the tight pattern of streets.
Lanes and blocks
Narrow lanes branch off the main roads into small, irregular blocks. They create one of the densest and most intricate textures you will see on a suburban map.

为什么选Madhyamgram
一张有意义的地图
For many people, Madhyamgram is the everyday part of Kolkata life: the train into the city, the lanes home, the local pond. A map of the town turns that familiar routine into something worth framing, especially for someone who has moved away.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed to anything you like, such as a family name and a year. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files come in six print sizes as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs.
