关于地图
Mafinga Map Poster & Print
Mafinga is in Tanzania's Iringa Region, on the high plateau of the Southern Highlands. The main highway between Dar es Salaam and Zambia runs through the town, which grew along it. From above, Mafinga looks like a long, linear settlement, with side streets branching off the main road.
The area is known for its forestry. The Sao Hill plantation, one of the largest planted forests in Tanzania, lies nearby, and timber and sawmilling are important to the local economy. The rolling highland country around the town is divided into plantations, farms and scattered villages.
A Mafinga map poster shows the highway as a strong spine through the frame, with the town's streets arranged along it. Beyond, forest tracks and farm roads cover the plateau in a looser pattern. It is a clear, structured print of a town built around a road.

Plantation tracks
Forestry roads cross the surrounding plantations in long, regular lines, giving the plateau around the town a quiet, organised texture.
Linear town form
Instead of spreading in a circle, the town extends along the highway, with short side streets branching off at intervals.
