The Irsha river
The river bends through the town and sets the direction of many streets. It is the most expressive line on the map and the natural centre of the composition.

关于地图
Malyn Map Poster & Print
Malyn lies in the north of Zhytomyr Oblast, in the forested Polissia region, on the Irsha river. On a map, the river winds through the town and gives the street network an irregular, meandering spine. Neighbourhoods of low houses fan out along the riverbanks, and a few longer roads lead out toward the villages and woodland beyond.
A railway line crosses the town, connecting it with Kyiv and with Korosten to the west, and the station area forms one of its clearest focal points. Much of the land around Malyn is forest, broken up by clearings, small fields and wetland. On a wider print, this gives the town a dark, textured frame.
A Malyn map poster suits people with family ties to the Zhytomyr region or memories of summers by the Irsha. The river's curves soften the layout, and the railway gives it a firm straight line. It is a modest, honest portrait of a northern Ukrainian town, rendered in clean line work.

Railway crossing
The line toward Kyiv and Korosten runs straight through town, with the station area marking a clear node in the street pattern.
Polissia woodland
Forest surrounds Malyn on most sides. On a wider print it appears as open space broken by tracks and clearings, typical of the Polissia landscape.
