Ridge-top centre
The core blocks sit on relatively level ground along a ridge. Their regular pattern stands out against the curving streets that spill down the hillsides on every side.

关于地图
Marsella Map Poster & Print
Marsella sits high in the western Andes of Risaralda, and from above it looks like a town working hard against the terrain. The central blocks try to keep a grid, but the ground won't allow it for long. Streets tip downhill, break into switchbacks and turn into rural roads that follow the ridgelines out into the farms.
The land around the town is coffee country, and on a map that shows up as a scatter of lanes and tracks between small holdings. A black-and-white rendering strips out the green and keeps the structure: a compact core, a web of roads bent to the contours, and the empty spaces where valleys drop away too steeply to build on.
Locally, Marsella is known for its botanical garden and a careful approach to its natural surroundings. A Marsella map poster shows the town as it really is, a tight settlement holding onto a mountain shoulder, with every road shaped by the slope beneath it.

Contour-shaped roads
Roads out of town follow the mountain's folds instead of straight lines. On the poster they draw long, looping strokes that trace the terrain without any shading.
Coffee farm lanes
Beyond the edge of town, thin rural tracks branch between farms. They make a fine, irregular mesh that shows how people have settled the surrounding slopes.
