Martūru Map Poster & Print
Martūru lies in the Ernakulam area of central Kerala, in the low, well-watered country of the Periyar river basin. Unlike a compact town with a clear centre, the settlement spreads in a looser pattern, with houses set along winding roads and lanes among coconut palms, rubber plots and fields. From above, streets and waterways weave together into a fine, organic network.
This dispersed form is typical of Kerala, where villages and towns often blend into one another along roads rather than forming tight cores. The region lies within easy reach of Kochi and its airport, and small streams, canals and paddy land break up the built area throughout.
A Martūru map poster turns this soft, scattered pattern into something graphic.
