Dispersed homesteads
Buildings are scattered across the plain in small groups instead of one compact core, giving the map an even, delicate texture.

关于地图
Mbuguni Map Poster & Print
Mbuguni lies in Arusha region in northern Tanzania, on the lower plains south of the Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro highlands. From above, it is a loose, spread-out settlement rather than a dense town. Homesteads, fields and small clusters of buildings are scattered along a network of roads and unpaved tracks.
The plains here are mostly farmland, and the map is shaped by plots and paths rather than by planned streets. Seasonal watercourses run down from the higher ground to the north, crossing the land in thin lines. The larger centres of Arusha and Moshi lie some distance away in the foothills.
A Mbuguni map poster has a rural, open character. There is no single dense centre. Instead, lines of tracks and scattered buildings are spread fairly evenly across the frame. In monochrome this gives a soft, textured composition, closer to a drawing of a landscape than a city plan, which suits a calm, minimal interior.
