Indus River
The river's broad, shifting channels pass west of the city. They spread into sandbanks and side streams that give the poster its most organic texture.

关于地图
Mianwali Map Poster & Print
Mianwali sits in north-western Punjab, close to where the Indus River leaves the hills and spreads onto the plain. The river runs west of the city in a wide braided course. The Salt Range rises to the north and the sandy Thal desert opens to the south, so the city fills the space between very different landscapes.
The built-up area has a dense core of bazaars and residential blocks, with roads and canals extending toward the surrounding farmland. Irrigation from barrages on the Indus, including Jinnah Barrage upstream near Kalabagh, has shaped the green belt around the city. On a map those straight watercourses stand out against the looser pattern of the older lanes.
Mianwali is also home to a major Pakistan Air Force base. Its long runways sit beside the city and appear as a crisp geometric shape on the map. A Mianwali map poster brings these elements together clearly: the river, the range, the airfield and the dense town at their centre.

Air base runways
The air force base beside the city draws long straight runways and taxiways. They form a precise geometric element set against the irregular streets nearby.
Canal lines
Irrigation canals fed by the Indus barrages cut straight across the farmland. They mark the edges of the city with clean parallel strokes.
