关于地图
Mildura Map Poster & Print
Mildura lies on the south bank of the Murray River in the far northwest of Victoria, in a semi-arid region known as Sunraysia. The city began in 1887 as an irrigation settlement planned by the Canadian-born Chaffey brothers. Their design is still clear from above, with a regular grid of numbered streets crossed at right angles by broad avenues.
The most prominent of these is Deakin Avenue, a long, wide boulevard running inland from the river through the heart of the city. Beyond the urban grid, rectangular irrigation blocks of vineyards, citrus orchards and dried-fruit plantations spread across the flat land. Their water comes from the river and from channels that follow the same geometry.
A Mildura map poster shows a remarkable planned landscape, with the winding river on one side and the disciplined grid of town and farmland on the other. The contrast is striking in black and white. It makes a strong print for anyone who knows the Murray and the long straight roads of Sunraysia.

为什么选Mildura
一张有意义的地图
Mildura means river holidays, fruit-picking seasons and long drives for many Australians, and home for many more. A map of its grid and river makes a meaningful piece for a house in Sunraysia or a gift for someone who has moved away.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, and five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters on matte paper can come with an optional wooden frame.
