关于地图
Minbu Map Poster & Print
Minbu lies on the west bank of the Ayeyarwady river in Myanmar's Magway Region, opposite the city of Magway on the east bank. From above, the river dominates the map: a wide channel with shifting sandbanks, and the town arranged along its bank with streets reaching back from the water toward drier land.
The two towns are linked by a road bridge across the Ayeyarwady, which appears on the map as a strong line spanning the river. Minbu is also known for the mud volcanoes nearby, small cones of bubbling mud that are a curiosity of the region and a local site of pilgrimage.
A Minbu map poster places the river at the centre of the composition, with the town on one side and the broad water and sandbanks filling much of the frame. It is a map about a riverside place, drawn with the simplicity the setting deserves.

Bridge to Magway
A road bridge crosses the river to Magway on the opposite bank, a single long line connecting the two towns across the water.
Riverside streets
The town's streets run along and away from the west bank, giving Minbu an outline shaped by the river rather than by a planned grid.
