关于地图
Mombaça Map Poster & Print
Mombaça is a municipality in central Ceará, deep in the Brazilian sertão, far from the coast. The town itself is small and orderly. A grid of streets surrounds a central square and church, and the town gives way quickly to open land. The landscape around it is semi-arid, with low hills and scattered farms.
Water plays a large role here. Reservoirs and seasonal streams appear across the region, and on the map they are some of the few curving, organic shapes. Rural roads run out from the town in several directions, linking it with remote communities and neighbouring municipalities in the interior of Ceará.
A Mombaça map poster shows a town that lays its grid on wide, dry country. The dense centre sits against a sparse landscape of tracks, water and hills. It is a quiet, spacious image, and for people with family roots in the sertão it has the familiar shape of home.

Reservoirs and streams
Bodies of water and seasonal streams add curved shapes to the landscape. In the semi-arid interior, they carry real weight.
Sertão roads
Long, thin roads leave the town across dry country. They connect Mombaça with farms and neighbouring municipalities.
