Fort 4
The fort's moated outline survives among the houses. It is one of the most distinctive geometric shapes on the map and gives the town a clear anchor.

关于地图
Mortsel Map Poster & Print
Mortsel borders Antwerp to the southeast and forms part of the city's continuous built-up area. From above, the boundary is almost invisible, and streets flow from one municipality into the other. Mortsel itself is compact and heavily residential, with row houses and small gardens packed into a tight, irregular grid.
One of the town's most recognisable features is Fort 4, part of the nineteenth-century ring of fortifications around Antwerp. Its moat and outline are still clear on the map. Mortsel is also home to the Agfa-Gevaert headquarters and factory. In April 1943, an Allied raid aimed at a nearby aircraft works struck residential areas and killed many civilians, an event still remembered locally.
A Mortsel map poster shows a small town with a strong sense of structure. The fort provides a geometric focal point, and the industrial site adds large blocks. The surrounding streets create a rich, even texture that links it to Antwerp without losing its own character.

Dense residential grid
Row-house streets run close together in slightly irregular blocks. They produce a fine, even pattern across most of the town.
Agfa site
The large Agfa-Gevaert campus appears as a zone of broad blocks and wide roads, standing apart from the small-scale residential fabric.

为什么选Mortsel
一张有意义的地图
Mortsel is where many people from the Antwerp region grew up, bought a first home, or walked around the fort. A map poster turns those familiar streets into a clean, graphic piece for a hallway or living room.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a date or even a street name. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Order a matte print, optionally framed, or download the $9 HD files.
