Ridge-top roads
Main roads follow the high ground between valleys, so the busiest routes form long, gently curving lines across the map.

关于地图
Murang’a Map Poster & Print
Murang’a sits in the central highlands of Kenya, southwest of Mount Kenya, in country made of long ridges divided by river valleys. The map shows this terrain through its roads: main routes run along ridge tops, and smaller lanes drop down the slopes to the streams below.
The town was known as Fort Hall in the colonial period and is today the administrative centre of Murang’a County. The surrounding area is closely tied to Kikuyu heritage and is known for farming, particularly tea and coffee on the higher ground.
A Murang’a map poster shows a compact town centre where the main roads meet, surrounded by a network of lanes spreading over the hills. The pattern is irregular and organic, shaped by land and water rather than by a grid, and gives the print a gentle, natural rhythm.

River valleys
Streams run in the folds between ridges, and the lanes that descend toward them create a branching pattern around the town.
Compact centre
The commercial core is small and dense, gathered where the main routes converge, with residential areas thinning quickly into farmland.

为什么选Murang’a
一张有意义的地图
Murang’a matters to many families in Kenya and abroad as a home county. A map of the town is a way to keep that place on the wall, whether in Nairobi or much further away.
You can set the title, a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and the coordinates line yourself. The design is available in five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
