Lake Kasumigaura
Japan's second-largest lake lies along the western side of the city, and its wide surface gives the poster a large, clean area of open water.

关于地图
Namegata Map Poster & Print
Namegata is in the southeast of Ibaraki Prefecture, on the land between Lake Kasumigaura and Lake Kitaura. On a map the city forms a long peninsula, with open water on both sides. Villages, farm roads and small woods fill the land between, and the shorelines give the whole area a clear, elongated outline.
The city was formed in 2005 by merging several towns, which is why it has no single dense centre. Instead, small settlements are spread along the lakeshores and the roads that run down the peninsula. The area is known for farming, and its sweet potatoes in particular are well known across the region.
A Namegata map poster works mostly with water and land. The two lakes become broad, calm shapes on either side, while the countryside between them shows as a fine web of roads and field boundaries. It is a quieter map than a city grid, but a very distinctive one.

Lake Kitaura
A narrower lake runs along the eastern side, so Namegata sits between two shorelines and takes on the shape of a long, narrow peninsula.
Rural road network
Small roads connect scattered villages and farmland, creating a fine, even texture that spreads across the whole map instead of gathering in one centre.

为什么选Namegata
一张有意义的地图
Namegata is a place of lakes and farms rather than tall buildings, and its map has an understated beauty. It suits anyone with family in Ibaraki, or anyone who enjoys a print that is about landscape and water.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or a date that matters to you. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download 300 DPI files or order a printed poster.
