Village core
The older centre shows up as a compact cluster of narrow, irregular lanes. It's the densest part of the map and a record of the settlement's roots from before the city arrived.

关于地图
Nārsala Map Poster & Print
Nārsala lies on the south-eastern fringe of Nagpur in Maharashtra, where the city has been expanding into what was recently farmland. On a map, it's a place in transition. An older village core of tightly packed lanes sits among newer residential layouts, and those layouts are drawn in more regular blocks. The whole area connects to the larger road network of the city.
This makes for an interesting composition, because two different planning logics sit side by side. The organic pattern of an old village spreads outward, while newly laid plots impose straight lines and right angles. Open patches between them show where development has yet to arrive, so the map records a place in the middle of change.
A Nārsala map poster works best for people who know it at close range: residents who've watched new roads appear, or families who have built a home here. Printed in black and white, the mix of old lanes and fresh grids makes a detailed, honest portrait of an Indian city's growing edge.

New layouts
Around the core, recent residential plots are laid out in straight rows and neat blocks. Their regularity sets them apart from the older pattern.
The city's edge
Open spaces between developments show where Nagpur's growth has yet to reach. These gaps give the composition breathing room and mark a landscape still being filled in.

为什么选Nārsala
一张有意义的地图
A map of a neighbourhood on the edge of a growing city is also a record of a particular moment. For people who have just built or bought a home here, it's a way to mark that moment. Years later, the streets may look quite different.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with your family name and the date you moved in. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The digital HD files cost $9, with no watermark.
