Town grid
Obispos is built on a regular pattern of blocks around its centre. The grid stands out clearly against the open plains and gives the poster its structure.

关于地图
Obispos Map Poster & Print
Obispos lies in Barinas state, in the western llanos of Venezuela, where the Andes give way to wide, level plains. On a map the town is a compact grid of streets in open country, surrounded by farms, pasture and the lines of rivers flowing down from the mountains towards the Orinoco basin.
It is the seat of the municipality of the same name and a local centre for the farming and cattle ranching that define this part of the llanos. The state capital, Barinas, is a short distance to the west. The roads between them cross the kind of flat, open ground where rivers and lines of trees stand out clearly from above.
An Obispos map poster is a clean, understated print: a regular town grid, a few roads heading out across the plain, and the soft lines of watercourses and fields around it. It is a map that rewards a closer look at the order beneath a quiet place.

Road to Barinas
The route west towards the state capital is the town's main link. It runs as a strong, nearly straight line across the level landscape.
Rivers of the plains
Watercourses descending from the Andes wind across the llanos near town. Lines of trees along them show as soft, curving shapes on the map.

为什么选Obispos
一张有意义的地图
Obispos is a place people carry with them long after leaving the llanos. A map of its streets and surrounding plains suits a home in Caracas, Bogotá, Madrid or Miami, and makes a quiet gift for a parent or grandparent from the town.
The poster can carry any title and subtitle you choose, including Spanish text, and a coordinates line. Try the free 900 px preview in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand before buying the $9 HD files or a printed poster.
