Garden settlement
Houses set within coconut and areca plots spread the lanes evenly across the map, so there is no single dense centre.

关于地图
Palayad Map Poster & Print
Palayad lies in northern Kerala, on the low coastal belt of Malabar, where the land slopes gently down to the Arabian Sea a few kilometres to the west. Seen from above, it is not a town with a sharp edge. Houses sit among coconut and areca gardens and roads wander between them, so the settlement spreads out loosely instead of gathering around a single square.
This dispersed pattern is typical of Kerala, where villages and towns run into one another along roads and waterways. On a map the result is a fine web of lanes, some following slightly higher ground and others tracing the edges of low-lying fields and streams. It is a quieter kind of map than a city grid, made up of small bends and frequent junctions.
A Palayad map poster captures that texture without clutter. Black road lines stand against open white where gardens and paddy fill the gaps, and any streams in the frame become thin, meandering accents. It suits people who grew up here, or whose families still live nearby, and who want a picture of home that is precise rather than decorative.

Coastal lowland
The Arabian Sea coast lies a short distance to the west, and the gentle fall of the land toward it shapes where the roads run and the fields sit.
Winding local roads
Lanes curve around plots, streams and slight rises in the ground, producing an organic network that reads well in fine black line work.

为什么选Palayad
一张有意义的地图
Kerala families are often spread across the Gulf, Bengaluru and beyond, and a map of the home town is a steady reminder of where everyone began. The poster works as a gift for parents, a housewarming present or a small anchor in a new flat far from Malabar.
Personalise the title with a family name or a date, keep or edit the coordinates, and pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px watermarked preview lets you check the result before buying the $9 HD files or ordering a printed poster.
