关于地图
Pallikonda Map Poster & Print
Pallikonda lies in the Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, along the Palar River. On the map, the river forms a broad, often sandy channel near the town, and the streets cluster on its bank. A major highway between Chennai and Bengaluru passes nearby, cutting a strong straight line through the surrounding landscape.
The town is best known for its temple dedicated to Ranganatha, depicted in the reclining form that gives Pallikonda its name, and the temple area forms a focus within the town's street pattern. Around it, closely packed lanes and houses give way to fields and villages further out.
This combination of river, temple and highway gives Pallikonda a clear structure from above. A Pallikonda map poster traces the town's compact core, the wide course of the Palar and the road that links it to the larger cities of South India.
