关于地图
Palmeira Map Poster & Print
Palmeira lies in the Campos Gerais region of Paraná, in southern Brazil. This high, rolling landscape of natural grassland and farmland lies between Curitiba and Ponta Grossa. From above, the town has an orderly grid of blocks around its historic centre, with the open country stretching away on all sides.
Palmeira has a notable place in social history. In the 1890s, the Colônia Cecília, an experimental anarchist community founded by Italian immigrants, was set up in its countryside. Today the map shows a quiet municipality, with a clear urban grid, streams running through small valleys and farm roads tracing the gentle hills.
A Palmeira map poster brings out that contrast between order and openness. In black and white, the grid of the town reads as a crisp, regular block, while the grassland around it is marked only by the fine lines of rural roads and watercourses.

Campos Gerais
Rolling grassland and farmland surround the town. The edges of the map stay open, crossed only by thin country roads.
Stream valleys
Small rivers wind through the landscape. Their soft curves break the straight lines of the grid and the fields.
