关于地图
Polichalur Map Poster & Print
Polichalur is a residential suburb on the southwestern edge of Chennai, in Tamil Nadu, close to Chennai International Airport and the Pallavaram area. From above, it is a dense network of streets and lanes filling the land between main roads, with residential blocks packed closely together and occasional open spaces breaking up the pattern.
Like many areas on Chennai's outskirts, Polichalur has grown quickly as the city has expanded, and former village land has been absorbed into the metropolitan area. Its location near the airport and major transport routes has made it popular with families and commuters, and the streets reflect decades of gradual, plot-by-plot development.
A Polichalur map poster shows the fine-grained texture of a growing Indian suburb. The tightly packed lanes form an intricate mesh, while larger roads provide structure. Water bodies, open grounds and the large open space of the airport nearby add bold, calm shapes that contrast with the density of the residential streets.

Airport nearby
The large open area of Chennai's airport lies close by, forming a broad, geometric shape that contrasts with the fine residential streets.
Tanks and open ground
Water tanks and open plots appear as lighter areas within the urban fabric, traces of the landscape that existed before the suburb grew.

为什么选Polichalur
一张有意义的地图
Polichalur is home to many families who have watched it change from a village fringe to a busy suburb. A map of its streets makes a warm gift for a new house, or a reminder of Chennai for those living abroad.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a street name or a gruhapravesam date, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Classic black & white captures the dense lanes clearly.
