Planned blocks
Residential streets follow a regular, right-angled plan. They form a tight geometric pattern that stands out sharply against the surrounding wetlands and forest.

关于地图
Poykovskiy Map Poster & Print
Poykovskiy is an urban-type settlement in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of western Siberia, not far from Nefteyugansk. It was built as the region's oil fields were developed, and its plan shows it. Straight streets, regular housing blocks and industrial zones are laid out on open ground, with little of the irregularity of an older town.
The landscape around it is dominated by the vast floodplain of the Ob river, with channels, oxbow lakes and wetlands spreading in every direction. From above, water and marsh make up much of the map. The settlement is a compact, geometric island within a much looser natural pattern.
Roads out of town run in long straight lines across the flat land toward the oil fields and neighbouring towns. A Poykovskiy map poster captures the contrast between planned streets and wild, shifting rivers. That combination is typical of the northern oil towns built in the second half of the twentieth century.

Ob floodplain
Channels, backwaters and oxbow lakes of the Ob surround the settlement. They give the map a rich, irregular texture of curving water shapes.
Straight access roads
Long roads lead out across the flat land toward the oil fields and nearby towns. They draw firm lines through marsh and taiga in every direction.

为什么选Poykovskiy
一张有意义的地图
Many people have lived and worked in Poykovskiy for part of their lives, often far from where they were born. A map of the settlement is a way to mark those years, or to show family elsewhere what home looks like.
The poster can carry your own title, a subtitle with years or names, and the coordinates. Noir and Blueprint suit the northern landscape, and Classic black & white, Paper and Sand work too. Download the $9 files or order a matte print shipped from a partner nearby.
