Radomyshl Map Poster & Print
Radomyshl sits on the Teteriv River in Zhytomyr Oblast, in the wooded Polissia edge country west of Kyiv. From above, the river is what you see first: a broad, looping line with the town packed against its banks. Streets lead down toward the water and fan out into lower-density housing, garden plots and field edges. The pattern is typical of a small Ukrainian district town, organised around the river and one main road.
The town is old, and it has changed hands and names many times. For generations it was a shtetl with a large Jewish community, and that past still shapes how it is remembered. Today many visitors know it for Radomysl Castle, a former mill on the river that was restored as a museum and cultural centre. On paper, the mill site becomes a small, dense cluster right at the water's edge.

The restored mill, now known as Radomysl Castle, sits right on the river. From above it reads as a tight knot of buildings where land and water meet.
Town fading to fields
Toward the edges, the dense centre gives way to houses with long garden plots and then open land. On the print, the lines slowly thin out into white space.
