Dnieper–Drut confluence
The two rivers meet right beside the historic centre. Their joining channels form the clearest and most recognisable feature of the whole map.

关于地图
Rahachow Map Poster & Print
Rahachow sits in the Homyel’ region of eastern Belarus, where the Drut flows into the Dnieper. That confluence explains the town's shape. The historic core occupies the high ground where the two rivers meet, and later streets spread inland from there in a fairly regular pattern. The broad Dnieper, with its floodplain and oxbow bends, forms a long, curving edge on one side.
The town is old. It is first mentioned in chronicles in the twelfth century, and for centuries it was a river town on the route along the Dnieper. Today many people in Belarus and neighbouring countries know Rahachow for its dairy industry, above all the condensed milk made here. Beyond the river, the map opens into meadows, woodland and wetland typical of the Dnieper lowlands.
A Rahachow map poster brings together two rivers, one old centre and a landscape of water and meadow. The joining rivers make a strong natural focal point, which gives the map a balance that many larger cities lack.

Dnieper floodplain
Across the river, the floodplain spreads out in meadows, old channels and small lakes, giving the poster a soft, detailed texture opposite the town.
Inland street pattern
Away from the rivers, the streets settle into a fairly regular grid of blocks and avenues that grew as the town expanded beyond its old core.

为什么选Rahachow
一张有意义的地图
A map of Rahachow is a natural choice for anyone with roots in the town or memories of summers on the Dnieper. The rivers make the map instantly recognisable, even to someone seeing it for the first time.
Personalise the title and subtitle, including in Cyrillic, and set the coordinates line however you like. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint works especially well with the rivers.
