Ratnadurg headland
The fort sits on a horseshoe-shaped promontory jutting into the sea. It is one of the most distinctive outlines on this part of the Konkan coast.

关于地图
Ratnagiri Map Poster & Print
Ratnagiri lies on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra, where laterite plateaus drop sharply toward the Arabian Sea. The map shows a town spread over uneven ground, with roads winding along ridges and slopes instead of forming a grid. To the west, a rocky headland reaches into the sea, and the coast on either side breaks into bays, beaches and a river creek.
The Ratnadurg fort occupies the headland, with a lighthouse near its tip. Ratnagiri is the birthplace of Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Thibaw Palace recalls the last king of Burma, who spent his final decades here in exile. The district is also famous for its Alphonso mangoes, grown on the surrounding slopes.
A Ratnagiri map poster brings these coastal shapes together: the curve of Bhatye beach, the fort's promontory, the harbour and the roads climbing inland. In black and white, the town's winding hillside streets and broken coastline give the composition plenty of movement.

Bhatye beach and creek
South of the town, a long sandy beach meets the mouth of a creek. It draws a smooth curve against the rugged headlands on either side.
Hill-following roads
Because the town rises over laterite slopes, its roads bend and loop with the terrain. The result is a loose, organic street pattern very different from a planned grid.

为什么选Ratnagiri
一张有意义的地图
Ratnagiri means something to Konkan families, mango growers, admirers of Tilak and anyone who has watched the sunset from the fort. The broken coastline and winding roads give the poster real character, even in a restrained black and white design.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a hometown, a wedding or a trip along the coast. There are five styles to choose from. The 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files come without watermarks in all six sizes.
