Compact centre
The built-up area is small and tightly grouped. On the poster it reads as a single dense knot of lanes surrounded by open space.

关于地图
Raval Map Poster & Print
Raval is a small town in the western part of Saurashtra, in Gujarat. This is a flat, dry country of fields and scattered villages, not far inland from the Arabian Sea. From above, the settlement is a modest cluster of streets. It gathers where several country roads come together, then gives way quickly to open land on every side.
There are no dramatic landforms to anchor the drawing. The map is about proportion instead: a compact core, a few roads leaving it at different angles, and field boundaries fading out towards the horizon. That spareness gives the image a calm, almost diagrammatic quality.
A Raval map poster suits someone with family roots in the town, or who spent formative years in this corner of Gujarat. At a wider zoom, the roads linking Raval to its neighbours become part of the composition. They show how the place fits into the wider pattern of settlements across the peninsula.

Radiating roads
Country roads leave town in several directions, linking it to nearby villages. They form the main structural lines of the composition.
Saurashtra plain
Flat farmland surrounds the town on all sides. The result is a sparse, open map where every line counts.

为什么选Raval
一张有意义的地图
A map of a small hometown carries meaning that a skyline print cannot. For people from Raval now living in Ahmedabad, Mumbai or abroad, it keeps a clear, unsentimental picture of home on the wall.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with the family name or a year, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Styles range from Classic black & white and Noir to the warmer Paper and Sand, or a technical Blueprint.
