关于地图
Reguiba Map Poster & Print
Reguiba lies in El Oued Province in northeastern Algeria, part of the Souf region at the edge of the Grand Erg Oriental, one of the Sahara's great sand seas. On a map the town shows up as a compact grid of streets and low buildings, surrounded by pale open ground where the desert begins almost immediately beyond the last houses.
The Souf is known for its ghout, palm groves planted in hollows dug down toward the water table so that date palms can reach groundwater without irrigation. The region is also known for its domed rooftops, which gave El Oued the nickname city of a thousand domes. Around Reguiba, the roads to neighbouring towns cross the sand in long, straight lines.
A Reguiba map poster has an unusual clarity. With little to interrupt the view, the street pattern stands out sharply, and the roads leading away into the desert give the composition strong directional lines. The contrast between the dense town and the empty land around it suits a black-and-white print well.

Town grid
The built-up area forms a tight network of streets and blocks, clearly defined against the pale, empty ground that surrounds it on every side.
Palm gardens
The Souf's traditional palm groves, planted in sunken hollows, appear as scattered patches around the town and show how people have farmed this landscape.

为什么选Reguiba
一张有意义的地图
For those who grew up in the Souf, or who live elsewhere in Algeria or in France with family roots there, a map of Reguiba is a clear reminder of home. The desert setting makes it visually striking even to people who have never been.
Write your own title and subtitle, perhaps a date or a name, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download 300 DPI files or order a printed poster.
