Lake Prespa
The lake lies to the south of the town as a broad, smooth shape. On the poster it is a calm counterweight to the streets.

关于地图
Resen Map Poster & Print
Resen is in south-western North Macedonia, in the basin that holds Lake Prespa. The town sits a short distance north of the shore on flat, fertile ground, with mountains on both sides separating the basin from Ohrid to the west and Bitola to the east. On the map, it is a compact settlement with a clear central area and streets spreading outwards.
The landscape around the town is dominated by orchards. The Prespa area is known across the country for its apples, and from above the land is divided into long, regular plots lined with rows of trees. The lake is a large, calm shape to the south, and the mountain slopes add wide open areas around the edges of the composition.
In the town centre stands the Saraj, a late-Ottoman palace with a European-style facade, now used as a cultural centre. A Resen map poster shows a quiet lakeside basin town in simple line work, with orchards and water as its setting.

Apple orchards
Long rows of orchard plots cover the plain around Resen. They form a fine linear texture that the region is known for.
Mountain frame
Ranges rise on both sides of the basin and close in the landscape. The town gets a sheltered, enclosed feel on the map.
