关于地图
Shostka Map Poster & Print
Shostka lies in the north of Sumy Oblast, close to the border with Russia, on a river of the same name. From above, the town is fairly compact. A central grid of residential streets sits near the river, while larger industrial sites and rail lines stretch along the edges. Forest and farmland surround it on most sides.
The town grew around gunpowder production that began here in the eighteenth century. It later became known across the Soviet Union for Svema, whose photographic and cinema film was made in Shostka for decades. That industrial past remains visible on a Shostka map poster. Large factory plots and railway sidings sit next to regular blocks of housing.
The river gives the map its softer line. It curves past the town, with low ground and small ponds along its banks. In black and white, the poster balances the ordered centre with the looser outskirts. Rail lines and main roads leave town in several directions, and the edges fade into forest.

Industrial belt
Large factory sites and railway sidings, tied to the town's long chemical and film industry, form broad, open shapes around the residential core.
Central grid
Straight streets and regular blocks at the heart of town give the poster a clear, legible centre with main roads branching outward.

为什么选Shostka
一张有意义的地图
Shostka is a home town for many people now living elsewhere, and for others it is linked to Svema film and old cameras. A map is a direct, understated way to keep that connection on the wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be personalised. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Get the $9 HD download in six print sizes, or have a matte poster printed and shipped by a local partner.
