Stockton Channel
The channel reaches right into downtown and ends near Weber Point and McLeod Lake, so the waterfront sits at the heart of the city rather than on its edge.

关于地图
Stockton Map Poster & Print
Stockton sits on the eastern edge of the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta, where the San Joaquin River and a network of sloughs and channels reach inland. The Stockton Deep Water Ship Channel connects the city to San Francisco Bay, making it one of California's inland seaports. The port's basins and docks cover a large stretch west of downtown.
The city was founded during the Gold Rush as a supply point for miners heading into the Sierra foothills. Downtown sits at the head of a channel, with Weber Point and the waterfront facing the water. Around it, a broad grid spreads across the flat valley floor, cut by sloughs, rail lines and the Interstate 5 corridor.
Farther north, the University of the Pacific campus and the Miracle Mile shopping street add their own textures. A Stockton map poster works especially well at a wider scale, where the delta waterways surround the city with a dense, branching pattern of water and islands.

Delta waterways
West of the city, rivers and sloughs divide the land into islands protected by levees. The result is an intricate, almost lace-like pattern of water around the grid.
University of the Pacific
The campus along the Calaveras River forms a distinct cluster of paths and quads, set apart from the regular residential blocks around it.

为什么选Stockton
一张有意义的地图
Stockton is a map for delta boaters, Pacific alumni and families who have lived in the valley for generations. Personalise the title and subtitle with a graduation year, a wedding date or a neighbourhood, and adjust the coordinates to an exact spot.
Blueprint brings out the port and channels, Noir makes the water dark and deep, and Paper, Sand and Classic black & white are quieter options. HD files cost $9, or you can order a matte print from a print partner in one of more than 30 countries.
