关于地图
Taketoyo Map Poster & Print
Taketoyo is a small town on the eastern side of the Chita Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture. It faces Kinuura Bay, the inlet that reaches north from Mikawa Bay. Its shape is defined by that water: a narrow band of streets between the shoreline and the low hills behind, with reclaimed land and port facilities extending out into the bay.
The town is known for tamari soy sauce and miso, produced in traditional breweries whose dark wooden storehouses are still found in the older streets. On a map, the historic district appears as a close mesh of small lanes near the old shore. The newer waterfront, with its straight-edged quays and industrial plots, projects outward in hard geometric shapes.
A Taketoyo map poster sets these two characters side by side. The fine, irregular lanes of the brewing district sit close to the rigid lines of reclaimed land, and the bay provides a wide calm field of open space. Railway lines follow the coast, joining Taketoyo with the rest of the peninsula and the Nagoya area to the north.

Brewing lanes
Narrow streets in the older quarter hold the tamari and miso breweries the town is known for. They form a dense, irregular pattern on the map.
Reclaimed waterfront
Port and industrial land extends into the bay in rectangular blocks, giving the coastline an angular, engineered outline.
