关于地图
Tanout Map Poster & Print
Tanout lies in the Zinder Region of Niger, north of the city of Zinder, in the Sahel belt where farmland gives way to drier, more open country. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets and compounds surrounded by wide, pale land, with tracks and roads leading out across it.
The layout reflects the environment. Houses and walled compounds are packed closely together, and streets form an irregular network in the older parts of town. Roads connect Tanout to Zinder in the south and lead further north toward the Aïr and Agadez, making the town a waypoint on long journeys across the region.
In a minimalist print, Tanout's tight street pattern stands out against the emptiness around it, a small, detailed shape in a large field. A Tanout map poster is for those who know the town, have family there, or have travelled the roads that pass through it.

Northern route
A road leads north from Tanout toward the Aïr region, drawing a long line from the town into the open landscape.
Open Sahel
Wide, empty space surrounds the town on every side, leaving the street network to stand alone in the middle of the print.

为什么选Tanout
一张有意义的地图
A town like Tanout is defined by its setting as much as its streets. The map shows both, a small, detailed place in a vast landscape, and makes a personal reminder for people who come from the region or have passed through it.
Personalise the title and subtitle, and keep or change the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
