关于地图
Tikil Dingay Map Poster & Print
Tikil Dingay is a town in the Amhara region of Ethiopia, northwest of the historic city of Gondar. It lies in highland country of cultivated fields, scattered homesteads and seasonal streams. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets and plots around a main road, with land opening out quickly into farmland on all sides.
Like many market towns in this part of Ethiopia, it serves the surrounding rural area, and its layout reflects that role. Most of the activity follows the principal road, with smaller lanes branching off toward residential compounds. The town's name contains the Amharic word for stone, a reminder of the rocky highland ground that underlies much of the region.
A Tikil Dingay map poster is a simple, spare composition. The road forms the backbone, the surrounding streets make a small, dense cluster, and open space fills the rest of the frame. For a place that rarely appears on printed maps, the minimalist style suits it well and keeps the focus on its actual shape.

Compact town cluster
Residential lanes and compounds form a tight core that ends abruptly at the edge of the fields. The contrast between built and open land defines the poster.
Highland surroundings
Beyond the town, tracks and footpaths cross farmland and seasonal streams. On the map they appear as thin lines that give a sense of the wider Amhara landscape.
