关于地图
Tindal Map Poster & Print
Tindal is on the western side of Erode in Tamil Nadu, in the Kongu region of the state. On a map it looks like an urban fringe: residential streets and institutional campuses along the main roads out of the city, with the gaps between them still partly open land.
Erode is known as a trading centre for turmeric and textiles, and the roads that pass Tindal carry a steady flow of goods and commuters. The street pattern is a mix of older lanes and newer layouts marked out in regular plots, a common sight on the edges of growing South Indian towns.
A Tindal map poster shows a place in transition, where the city is still spreading into the surrounding countryside. For people who live here or grew up here, the grid of new plots and the main road beside it are a familiar and personal geography.

New layouts
Regular residential plots laid out in neat rectangles sit next to older, more irregular lanes, a mix that shows up clearly in black and white.
Open plots
Undeveloped land between the built-up areas leaves pockets of blank space, giving the map a lighter, airier texture than the city centre.
