关于地图
Toubakoura Map Poster & Print
Toubakoura lies in the Koulikoro region of Mali, northeast of Bamako, in the belt of dry savanna between the wetter south and the Sahel. The landscape is flat to gently rolling, with cereal fields of the kind common across the region, scattered trees, and seasonal watercourses that fill during the rains and dry out for much of the year.
Like many towns in this part of Mali, its map is made of a few clear elements: a core of closely built compounds, lanes running between them, and roads and tracks radiating out to villages and fields. The town is little documented outside the country, and its character is best read from the ground and from the map.
A Toubakoura map poster turns that simple structure into a strong graphic image. The built-up area appears as a dense cluster of short lines, the tracks leading away form long thin strokes, and the surrounding land leaves large areas of quiet paper. It is a spare composition, but an accurate and personal one.

Radiating tracks
Unpaved roads and tracks run outward in several directions toward farms and nearby villages, drawing fine lines across the open ground.
Open savanna
Flat farmland and scrub surround the settlement, creating wide empty space on the poster that emphasises the town's compact shape.

为什么选Toubakoura
一张有意义的地图
A map of Toubakoura is for the people who know it: those who were born there, who have family in the town, or who spent time working in the region. It keeps a specific, rarely pictured place on the wall, drawn with care.
Personalise the title and subtitle in French or in your own words, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, check the design with a free 900 px watermarked preview, then download the HD files for $9 or order a print.
