Central crossroads
The main roads meet in the middle of town. The densest cluster of streets there marks the commercial area that Vavoua is organised around.

关于地图
Vavoua Map Poster & Print
Vavoua is a town in the Haut-Sassandra region of Ivory Coast, in the west-central part of the country, north of Daloa. The land around it is rural and agricultural. On a map the town is a compact centre of crossing streets, with roads leading out toward villages, plantations and patches of forest across gently rolling ground.
The area is part of Ivory Coast's cocoa and coffee belt, and life in the town follows the farming seasons, with the main roads acting as its hub. Around the centre, residential quarters spread out in a loose grid of compounds and unpaved streets. The built-up area thins gradually into fields.
A Vavoua map poster keeps things simple: a town centre, the roads that connect it to the region and the open countryside around it. That simplicity is part of its appeal. In black and white, the plan becomes a clear, calm image of a place that is home to many people and is rarely drawn at all.

Residential quarters
Beyond the centre, neighbourhoods of compounds and smaller streets form a broad, roughly regular pattern. It gives the map an even, finely textured surface.
Roads to the villages
Roads leave town across open farmland and forest, including the road south toward Daloa. They draw long lines out to the edges of the frame.

为什么选Vavoua
一张有意义的地图
For people from Vavoua living in Abidjan, Europe or elsewhere, a map of the town is a quiet link to home. It makes a meaningful gift for parents or relatives and suits any room, because the plain lines of the street plan never compete with what is around them.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a date, and set the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download six print sizes for $9, or order a printed poster on matte paper.
