关于地图
Wa Map Poster & Print
Wa is the capital of the Upper West Region in the north-west of Ghana. It lies on the open savanna, and on a map the town looks compact and easy to read. The main roads radiate from the centre in several directions toward other towns in the region and toward the borders with Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire.
The town is the seat of the Wa Naa, the traditional ruler of the Wala people. His palace, built in the Sudano-Sahelian style with thick mud walls, is one of the historic buildings of the town. Wa also has several old mosques that reflect the long Islamic tradition of the region.
A Wa map poster shows a settlement shaped by flat ground and open space. The streets grow denser toward the centre and looser toward the edges. Scattered compounds and farmland continue beyond them, and the roads leading away into the savanna give the composition a clear, star-like structure.

Town centre
The densest part of the street network sits around the historic core, where the palace of the Wa Naa and older mosques are located.
Savanna edge
Beyond the built-up area, the streets thin out into scattered compounds and farmland, and the open savanna fills the outer edges of the map.

为什么选Wa
一张有意义的地图
For people from the Upper West Region, and for those who studied or worked in Wa, this map is a quiet reminder of home. Its clear structure looks good at any size.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a meaningful date. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand is a natural fit for the savanna.
