关于地图
Yabayo Map Poster & Print
Yabayo lies in the Bas-Sassandra District of southwestern Ivory Coast, an area of farming and forest. It is a modest town, and from above it appears as a cluster of streets gathered around a main road, with houses thinning out quickly into cultivated land.
This part of the country is at the heart of Ivory Coast's cocoa belt, and the landscape around towns like Yabayo is largely made up of smallholder plots, remaining forest and footpaths. On a map the fields look like an irregular mosaic around the more regular town blocks.
The composition is simple: a main road running through, side streets branching off it, and open land stretching toward the edges of the frame. A Yabayo map poster is a quiet record of a place that seldom appears on printed maps, drawn at the scale of its streets rather than the scale of the region.

Compact centre
The built-up area is small and closely grouped, so the whole town fits comfortably into the frame with plenty of open land around it.
Farmland mosaic
Around the town, irregular plots of cultivated land and patches of forest form a loose pattern of tracks and boundaries.
